With H2H the buyer never leaves for the provider's payment page: the form is built into the merchant's site or app and the data goes straight to the provider's server. That gives full control over design and checkout flow.

The trade-off is security requirements. If card data passes through your site, you need PCI DSS compliance. For local methods such as P2P or bank transfers, H2H usually means fetching payment details via API and displaying them on your own page.

The alternative is the provider's hosted payment page: faster to launch and simpler on security, but less flexible.
